Our client is seeking an energetic and motivated Web Developer to join their Marketing team. This position will play a crucial role in developing our digital communications platforms and driving awareness and traffic to our branded properties. The ideal candidate will have significant online experience, including basic development and design knowledge, with a working understanding of the changing digital space that they can leverage to help build our brands.

The essential functions of the job include:

-Plan, manage and implement the development and design of landing pages, micro-sites and various social platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest for multiple brands
-Responsible for site performance and optimization, administration and maintenance – debug issues on your own and/or work with internal and external IT resources to resolve problems
-Optimize on-site content (including photography, computer-aided designs CAD, video) and enhance the user experience to result in maximum visibility and top rankings in major search engines – may include HTML, site structure, page layout and/or navigation techniques
-Responsible for data collection strategies, database development and conversion strategies, which will lead into the eventual development of a CRM system

-Control naming and linking conventions of web pages, images and multi-media files
-Develop, deploy and manage email campaigns, banner ads and videos and track the effectiveness of these various media and placement programs
-Perform informational gathering, reporting and analysis on managed websites, social platforms and competitive sites
-Identify and implement innovative SEO strategies
-Think creativity and work with Marketing department to produce new, innovative ideas

Requirements:
-BA/BS degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university
-Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Internet-based or related business, preferably with a luxury brand, consumer packaging company or ad agency
-Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and Flash
-Proficient and working experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, JavaScript, Flash and Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
-Experience with Search Engine Optimization and ability to show increased results in rankings
-Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, spiders and ranking strategies for enhancing organic SEO
-Excellent communication, project management and troubleshooting skills
-Well organized with a strong attention to detail, flexible and adaptable to changes
-Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
-Able to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a strong team member
-Experience utilizing various email service platforms, creating and managing email campaigns, capturing customer data and tracking campaign activity and statistics
