We are seeking a hands-on and technical QA Compliance Analyst to join a growing team within the financial sector on a direct hire basis. The position will be responsible for the following: -Assessing compliance of the organization's rules by comparing Request for Changes to the existing Trading Rules. -Working with the IT team as well as the Provider to determine the rule impact and technology impact of proposed projects during the drafting phase of any new project. -As part of the Legal team, assist in the response to internal and external audits. -Assisting the IT and Legal teams with working on alignment between rules and technology. -Writing Legal User Acceptance Test Strategies -- Test Plan, Dataflow charts, Use Cases and Test Cases in collaboration with the IT team in order to ensure that technology upgrades conform to the pre specified rules before they are activated in the production environment. -Performing other special projects and duties as assigned or directed -Writing Test Cases related to the existing software functions using KaNest Tool (via Excel). -Performing the quarterly testing as well as the "On demand" testing, validation and reporting. -Performing recalibration of existing Test Cases (in case of a Rule change). -Maintaining the VIGIL Access Database (Cleaning, Version upgrade, Amelioration). -Working with the IT Team to create and maintain the Legal User Acceptance Platform Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Masters Degree preferred. Experience: Five to ten years of comparable experience working in the areas of technology and/or legal or compliance. Job Knowledge and Skills: The ideal candidate will possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in written documents and Request for Changes as well as above average organization and analytical skills along with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast paced environment and to meet strict deadlines. Skilled knowledge in testing concepts, tools and methodologies and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Tools (Excel, Visio and Access) are required. Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills required. Experience in the area of financial services, compliance and/or legal desirable. Ability to handle different projects in a timely manner and keep the project owners updated and well informed.
