A leading global media provider selects OperationIT’s Oracle Apps (ERP) expertise to implement their Oracle Financial Applications. The initiative was part of their global GL, AP, Purchasing and Assets implementation, including project management, training, and integration support.Our Oracle Applications (Financials) Subject Matter Expert, went in and was responsible for continued rollout of their Oracle footprint. Besides he Supported existing Oracle production and development in a GL & AP environment which included four Sets of Books/Currencies and worldwide consolidation. He managed all enhancements and reviewed the development/testing of new Oracle functions and reports.
OperationIT Selected by Retail Organization to Design and Develop Analytical and Reporting Services
OperationIT was selected by a Retail organization to design and develop analytical and reporting services. The client was running Business Objects XI R2, and needed the Cubes, Universes and Reports to be developed. OperationIT deployed its team of 2 Business Objects consultants to go in, Install, Configure, Deploy Business Objects on client machines, install SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005, create Universes based on the Reports from scratch, maintain and trouble shoot existing reports and develop new reports using crystal reports, all the while pulling the data from their existing Data Marts. Our consultants discharged their role in all stages of the project including designing, developing, testing and maintaining/trouble shooting the Reporting system.

A major national retail company chose a OperationIT OLAP professional to analyze and present solutions to performance issues on their OLAP. Our Client was facing several critical issues pertaining to their OnLine Analytical Processing on a SQL Server 2005 platform. Our OLAP Architect was responsible for analyzing their problem, drilled right down to by root cause analysis. He also came out with various alternative solutions, with their pros and cons, including a cost benefit analysis, and executed the solution selected by the management. Some of the problems he had to solve included consistently slow query performance, poor data quality, missing functionalities etc. Surprisingly the traditional cause of such a typical situation namely, exploding data volumes in the data warehouse, increasing even faster than hardware performance, was not really the cause. However our OLAP Architect, did manage to dig in, identify, recommend and solve the problem.<

A major PR/Advertising firm in New York selects OperationIT’s Business Intelligence Architect to spearhead their BI reporting solution. Our client had procured a BI product from Europe that focused on Financial Systems. For some reason, all its reporting capabilities were not being properly utilized. Our consultant went in to offer expert level test practices to enable the client to optimally utilize the products functionalities, and customize its reporting abilities. The first phase involved mainly scoping activities that included analyzing their current package that was developed on Business Objects XI R2, and providing recommendations in terms of timeline and methodologies to fix the existing problems, and optimize its functionalities. Our BI expert analyzed the existing system, ascertained the potential, offered recommendations, as also designed and developed some necessary reports/dashboards for the CFO. During the second phase, our Business Objects Architect moved ahead architecting and developing optimizing their Business Intelligence system, including designing all necessary dashboards for effective visualizations of KPIs.
